CAD Operator / Draughtsman

Our client, a well-established company in the construction and engineering sector, is seeking a skilled CAD Operator / Draughtsman to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings and plans from initial concepts and specifications to support various projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and produce accurate CAD drawings and technical plans according to project requirements.
• Interpret architectural and engineering sketches and translate them into detailed CAD drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure drawings meet design specifications and standards.
• Maintain and update drawing files and documentation systems.
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation for project submissions, approvals, and construction phases.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Operator or Draughtsman in construction, engineering, or related industries.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards and construction documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical specifications.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication abilities and teamwork skills.
• Relevant technical qualification or diploma in drafting, engineering, or related field is preferred.
