Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to manage the procurement process, optimise costs, and ensure the timely supply of quality products to support operational needs. The successful candidate will have strong supplier management skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to make data-driven purchasing decisions.
Minimum Requirements- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (diploma or degree)
- Additional certifications in procurement or inventory management advantageous
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a purchasing or buying role, ideally in electrical, industrial, or manufacturing sectors
- Proven track record in supplier management, negotiation, and timely order fulfilment
- Proficiency in inventory management and procurement processes
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret purchasing data and trends
- Familiarity with procurement software and MS Office
- Experience in cost management, market research, and data-driven decision-making
- International Buying Experience
