Business Intelligence Analyst, Fintech - Athens

As a member of the Business Intelligence team in Optasia, you will be a significant contributor to the company's data driven decision making and profit optimisation. You will bring extensive experience in providing business insights and building BI tools and dashboards, and as part of a larger team of 75 people you will work closely with Data Engineers, Credit Risk Analysts, Data Scientists, as well as Commercial and Product stakeholders.

• Conduct ad hoc and scheduled reporting analysis for a variety of projects on a daily basis
• Develop well organized, insightful dashboards and KPIs to support strategic business decisions
• Articulate business requirements and communicate effectively
• Desire to learn new skills and improve existing ones

• Bachelor or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, mathematical sciences, or business from an accredited institution
• Strong analytical skills, evidence of providing data driven business insights
• Advanced SQL skills (PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases)
• Hands on experience on BI software and tools such as MS Power BI, Qlik, Streamlit or other similar tools will be considered a plus
• Base knowledge of technical tools such as Unix shell scripting, Python, Apache Hadoop data platform, Apache NiFi and/or Apache Sqoop will be considered a plus
• Experience using Jira and Confluence, our basic workflow management tool
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office with an advanced knowledge of Excel
• At least one year of experience in a relevant industry; mobile and/or financial
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills resulting in action oriented recommendations

• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast paced, and team oriented environment
