About the CompanyEmmington is an international portfolio of companies operating across the UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand, and Dubai. We partner with businesses that are focused on improving customer acquisition and driving sustainable growth. Our portfolio includes both B2B and B2C businesses.
Across the Emmington portfolio, we own, invest in, and consult for a range of businesses. While our level of involvement may vary, all companies we work with meet the same core criteria: they are growth focused, performance driven, and committed to scaling effectively.
About the RoleWe're hiring our first consultant to run client delivery for the consulting arm of Emmington, a group of businesses headquartered in Cyprus with operations across the UK, US, and internationally.
This is not a typical consulting job. You'll be working directly with the CEO to deliver high end consulting to service business owners scaling from £500k to £10m+ in revenue. You'll run the calls, write the deliverables, and build the systems that everyone after you will follow.
What you'll actually be doingRunning discovery and delivery calls with clients (CEOs and founders of service businesses, UK and US based)
Writing the playbooks, frameworks, and PDFs we hand to clients at the end of each engagement
Translating messy client situations into clear, actionable plans they can execute
Spotting opportunities to deepen each engagement and grow client revenue, whether that's extending the work, bringing in another part of the group, or recommending services that genuinely help them
Building the systems, templates, and processes the consulting business will run on
Managing client relationships from first call through delivery and follow up
Bringing in specialist consultants when needed and making sure they deliver
You've spent at least 3 years inside a real business (consulting firm, agency, professional services, or operating role at a service business). You've been on calls with clients. You've written things people paid for. You know what good looks like and you can spot bad work from a mile away.
You're the person who, when something is broken, fixes it without being asked. You don't wait for a process. You build the process.
You can hold your own with a UK or US founder who's done $5m in revenue and wants real answers, not consulting fluff.
Who this is not forSomeone that wants to work half the day and bill a client for the whole day.
People who need a manager. You'll have one (the founder) but he's busy. You need to drive your own work.
People who want to coast. The first 12 months will be hard. The reward is owning a function inside a growing group.
