Business Development Consultant - Construction & Design (Cape Town)

We are seeking a dynamic and professional Business Development Consultant to drive growth within the projects environment. This role focuses on building strong relationships within the design and construction industry, identifying new opportunities, and increasing market presence.

Responsibilities

Lead business development initiatives by engaging with architects, developers, and key decision makers to build relationships, identify new opportunities, and expand market presence in the construction and design sector.

Qualifications
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Relevant qualification in Sales, Public Relations, or Interior Design (advantageous)
  • 5-7 years of experience in sales, public relations, or a related field
  • Strong relationship building and client engagement skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organisational and problem solving skills
  • Professional, well presented, and confident
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Willingness to travel when required
