Role Summary As a Business Analyst, you will act as a trusted advisor by analysing and optimising business processes, translating business needs into effective, system-aligned solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to elicit requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and design solutions that drive efficiency and value. The role also involves configuring and testing system functionality, supporting delivery through training and change management, and contributing to successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities Solution Roadmap, Design & Architecture Analyse and translate business and functional requirements into best-practice, standards-aligned solutions, identifying gaps, dependencies, and cross-process impacts Act as a trusted advisor by recommending how applications and configurations can be optimally leveraged, reused, and integrated to deliver maximum business value Stay current with application developments and continuously identify opportunities for efficiency, integration, and backlog improvement Continuous Improvement Champion a culture of continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities to enhance solutions, processes, and ways of working Drive efficiency and value by simplifying business processes, reducing unnecessary complexity, and identifying cost-saving initiatives Contribute to cross-functional initiatives, including the evaluation of new projects, technologies, and innovations, while maintaining quality and delivery flow Application Support Own and support assigned application areas, ensuring compliant delivery of enhancements by translating business processes and requirements into value-adding solutions aligned with SDLC standards Collaboration & Business Support Build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels by facilitating workshops, interviews, and presentations, while maintaining a deep understanding of evolving business processes Support service delivery and operational excellence by managing incidents and service requests, monitoring SLAs and customer satisfaction, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with teams to improve support processes and materials Project Support & Change Management Leverage and promote new technologies by building business confidence through effective adoption, documentation, and structured training, including a train-the-trainer approach Contribute to project delivery by supporting planning, specifications, resourcing, and documentation, while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams Governance, Compliance, and Security Leadership, Development and Team Work Requirements Minimum 5+ years relevant experience Project implementation and support experience (an advantage) Relevant Bachelor's Degree and/or 7 Years' Experience ITIL 4.0 Knowledge of the agricultural industry is advantageous Strong ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to management and cross-functional teams, verbally and in writing, using visual aids where appropriate Awareness of emerging technologies and ability to assess and recommend relevant solutions Solid understanding of business processes and agricultural business systems Proven ability to prioritise and deliver work effectively in high-pressure environments Strong understanding of IT disciplines, including system design, development, implementation, integrations, SDLC, and operational support Experience implementing quality standards, guidelines, and procedures in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders Strong administrative and documentation skills Ability to develop training materials and facilitate end-user training Please Note: As all iqbusiness roles require honesty in the handling of or access to cash, finances, financial systems, or confidential information; our recruitment process requires that the following background checks be completed: credit, criminal, ID, and qualification verification. iqbusiness is committed to sustainable growth and transformation; we embrace diversity and employ previously disadvantaged individuals.
