Salary/Benefits:The starting rate for permanent drivers and substitute drivers (including during their training) is $22 per hour with annual increases; experienced drivers start at a higher rate. Permanent drivers are promoted to the "veteran rate", which will be over $50 per hour after 3-4 years of service as a permanent driver.
