BREWING PROCESS OPERATOR

Key Purpose of this role: Operate the brewing and associated process areas, perform quality control checks and analyses, coach other team members, and support the Brewing Technician Artisan in asset care activities, applying core competencies to achieve optimum plant and process performance.

• Operate the Brewhouse Plant and Process.
• Operate Beverage Fermentation Plant and Process.
• Operate Beverage Filtration and FAB Plant and Process.
• Support the development of other team members and the learning of specialist Brewery Operators.
• Apply core competencies to achieve optimum plant and process performance.
• Coach and support other team members, including the Brewing Technician Artisan.
• Operate autonomously within teams.
• Optimize plant and process performance.
• Serve as a logical, analytical problem solver in an unstructured environment.
• Act as a team player, prepared to communicate, listen, and assist.
• Demonstrate initiative, energy, and achievement drive (improvement, do better than standard, be the best).

• National Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering or Biological Sciences.
• General Certificate in Brewing or Diploma in Brewing (advantageous).
• 1-3 years' experience in a brewing environment (advantageous).
• Previous experience in a process controlled manufacturing environment, ideally in food FMCG products.
• Process understanding of the Brewing process from raw material transfer to BBT, including utilities.
• PC literacy in Microsoft and SAP.
• Physically fit and healthy, able to lift weights up to 20kg.
