We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Modeller to join our growing BIM team within a dynamic architectural practice. As a BIM Modeller, your primary responsibility is the accurate and efficient development of BIM models across multiple disciplines, including Architecture, Structure, Interiors and MEPF services. A strong emphasis is placed on Revit expertise, parametric modelling, and Scan-to-BIM workflows, ensuring that various data sources are translated into high quality, information rich models aligned with dhk BIM Best Practices.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong Revit user who understands how disciplined modelling directly impacts coordination, documentation efficiency, data quality and project delivery. What You'll Do
  • Develop accurate, information rich BIM models in Revit across Architecture, Structure, Interiors and MEPF services.
  • Execute Scan-to-BIM workflows, including point cloud processing and conversion into well structured Revit models.
  • Implement the BIM Execution Plan and ensure adherence to dhk BIM Best Practices.
  • Apply ISO19650 modelling and naming conventions appropriately within all Revit environments.
  • Create, modify and manage Revit families, ensuring correct parameters, classification, nesting and performance.
  • Use advanced Revit functions such as view templates, filters, work sets, phasing, design options, and schedules.
  • Prepare coordinated exports, extractions, sheets and documentation for project teams.
  • Maintain model health through regular clean ups, audits and optimisation.
  • Support asset data integration (COBie, Uniclass, Omniclass) where required.
Revit Technical Expertise
  • Strong command of parametric modelling and understanding of model behaviour.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Revit issues including view errors, warnings, worksharing conflicts and modelling anomalies.
  • Efficient use of Revit add ins, plugins, point cloud tools and productivity extensions.
  • Proficiency in setting up templates, shared parameters and discipline specific modelling workflows.
  • Understanding of the impact of modelling decisions on downstream coordination and documentation.
  • Ability to manage model performance, work set strategy, file size control, family optimisation.
Technical Support
  • Assist project teams with Revit related queries, modelling problems and workflow guidance.
  • Collaborate with BIM Coordinators and the BIM Manager to resolve model issues efficiently.
  • Provide input on improving modelling workflows, automation opportunities and digital efficiencies.
  • Assist with software related queries in coordination with BIM Coordinators and Managers.
Training & Professional Development
  • Participate in internal BIM and Revit training sessions.
  • Maintain an advanced level of competency in Revit and related BIM tools.
  • Stay current with Revit releases, new tools, industry modelling trends and digital construction workflows.
Project Interface
  • Support teams with accurate and consistent BIM production throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist in Revit project setup under guidance from BIM Coordinators and the BIM Manager.
  • Coordinate updates with architects, engineers and specialists to maintain model integrity.
  • Assist in clash detection preparation, model clean ups and QA processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with BIM structures, naming conventions and documentation protocols.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on Revit modelling experience.
  • Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting or related field.
  • Proven multi discipline modelling capability, Architecture, Structure, Interiors and MEPF.
  • Experience working with point clouds and Scan to BIM modelling.
  • Strong understanding of Revit worksharing, coordination, documentation and data structures.
  • Experience with BIM 360/ACC is advantageous.
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering documentation accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to modelling accuracy.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi disciplinary team.
