Job Description

We are a team of leaders, bold thinkers and friends, and we're on a mission to create remarkable omni-channel experiences for our customers.

We believe that by being Bold, Accountable, Simple and Human, our values will lead us forward, keeping us real, connected and directed.

By leveraging the power of technology and exceptional talent, we are building products that bring the physical and digital world together to create communities that prosper. This journey requires grit, ambition and teamwork as we transform SA retail for the better.
And we're only just getting started. Now is the time to jump onboard.

We are looking for an Omnichannel Operations Manager to join our Bashstore team! You will own a portfolio of TFG brands and their stores, driving BashStore penetration, seller adoption, and revenue performance across your stack. You lead a team of Brand Leads (who act as internal account managers embedded in each brand) and an Embedded Trainer (your "special forces" on the ground), ensuring BashStore is woven into every brand trade and ops conversation.

This is a commercially focused, data-driven leadership role. You'll use real-time performance data to identify gaps, design targeted interventions, and hold the line on seller activation and productivity across hundreds of stores.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Stack Revenue & Performance Ownership: Act as the commercial interface between BashStore and stack leadership, ensuring BashStore is integrated into every brand trade meeting and ops review. Cultivate and maintain high-value relationships with brand partners, store managers, area managers, and internal stakeholders, keeping everyone aligned on goals and execution.
  • Initiatives & Content Development: Build and manage a content strategy that equips Brand Leads and Trainers with the right materials, messaging, and tools to engage stores effectively. Translate BashStore priorities into stack-specific playbooks, ensuring every initiative lands with operational clarity and commercial purpose. All content, comms, and activations should be data-informed, consistently executed, and measurable.
  • Data-Led Interventions: Use data to identify regressed sellers, silent stores, and activation gaps, and deploy your trainer to address them in real time. Translate Bashstore priorities into stack-specific playbooks, ensuring every initiative lands with operational clarity and commercial purpose.
  • AI-Powered Process Optimisation: Leverage AI, data, and technology to streamline processes, sharpen reporting accuracy, and drive proactive, insight-led decision-making across your stack.
  • Device Management: Own the management and readiness of stack devices, targeting zero dormant devices and ensuring faulty or non-working devices are promptly resolved to maintain full operational efficiency.
  • Operational Excellence: Champion operational excellence across your stack, identifying friction points in the seller journey and developing targeted interventions to address them.
WHO YOU ARE
  • 4-6+ years in retail, omnichannel, field operations, or commercial management
  • Proven track record leading multi brand or multi site teams
  • Experience driving adoption of tools, programmes, or new ways of working at scale
  • Strong commercial acumen - you read a performance dashboard and translate it into action
  • Confident working with data: weekly trading reports, seller metrics, penetration analytics
  • Excellent communicator and influencer - you get brand leadership and store teams aligned
