Minimum requirements Matric / Grade 12 NQF 2 Bakery learnership 1-2 years' experience as a baker Sound knowledge of Kosher and Kashrut Laws Competencies Focuses on completeness and accuracy of the task. Conscientious (By the Book) Customer orientated Sees any situation through the eyes of the customer and responds positively Works comfortably with established routines and procedures Thorough and accurate Completes tasks fully to high standards of quality in a precise and accurate Retail experience will be an added advantage Willingness to work flexible shifts aligned to Kosher events and festivals Key responsibilities Prepare and bake products Merchandise and display products according to laid down standards Maintain hygiene, housekeeping and safety working standards (floor and back-up area) Adhere to and maintain security procedures Operate and clean equipment according to laid down standards Maintain equipment e.g. report defective machinery/utensils to the Bakery Manager Complete relevant administration documentation e.g. production sheets and customer orders.
