X4 VACANCIES EXISTS IN THE TOOLROOM DEPARTMENT IN BERLIN FOR TOOLMAKERS

Must be prepared to work shifts.

Primary Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Toolroom Team Leader. This position requires the services of an individual to manufacture, repair, maintain and modify tools, jigs and dies to ensure that customer and quality standards are met.

Key Performance Areas
  • Experience Toolmaker in large skin panels and structural parts
  • Problem solving skill on Press line for tool dominated issues.
  • Hands on work experience to handle the skin panels corrective & preventive maintenance.
  • TIG Welding and cutting clearance optimization experience.
  • Hands on experience in Draw Tool stabilization & formability proving.
  • Must have work experience in heavy duty press shop with Automated tandem lines (600T to 2000T)

Minimum Requirements
  • Grade 12 and NQF Level 5 qualification
  • Qualified Tool and Die Maker
  • Minimum 4 years' experience as Toolmaker within automotive environment
  • Minimum 4 years tool, jig and die repair experience
