About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Manager for our Volkswagen dealership located in Midrand. In this role, you will lead our sales team, focusing on driving vehicle sales, fostering customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. Your leadership will be pivotal in creating a customer-centric sales environment and executing effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and revenue growth.
- Foster strong relationships with customers through exceptional service and follow-up, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the dealership management team.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns that drive sales.
- Conduct training and development programs for sales personnel to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Address customer concerns and queries professionally and efficiently to maintain a positive dealership reputation.

Requirements
- Proven track record in automotive sales management or a similar role within the retail sector.
- Strong understanding of the vehicle market and current industry trends.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong customer relationships.
- Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and analysis.
- Strong negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in a dealership or automotive environment is advantageous.
- Relevant certifications in sales or customer service excellence.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Afrikaans is a plus.
