Our client, Africa's largest distributor of industrial engineering products and a leading service provider specialising in engineering components, including bearings, seals, and power transmission is seeking an experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join their team based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and hands on professional with strong sales and operational management experience within the industrial engineering sector.
- Drive branch sales targets and provide accurate monthly reporting by required deadlines
- Check and authorise daily sales reports and oversee related administrative functions
- Maintain positive working relationships within the team, as well as with internal and external clients and local suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company branding, image, policies, and procedures, addressing any issues timeously
- Monitor debtor payments within established terms and follow up where necessary
- Manage and resolve escalated issues effectively and within agreed timeframes
- Provide accurate and detailed information for internal and external audits by specified deadlines
- Action and resolve audit findings to ensure full compliance

The successful candidate must be able to multitask, solve problems efficiently, foster a positive and fair working environment, adapt to change, and perform effectively under pressure.
Minimum Requirements- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- 5-10 years' experience in a Sales or Management role within the industrial engineering sector
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures (BMG experience advantageous)
- Working knowledge of the K8 system
