Art Teacher: Grades 4-12

Simond Private School is seeking a dynamic and passionate Art Teacher to inspire and guide learners across Grades 4-12. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction within the CAPS and IEB frameworks.

The ideal candidate is a committed educator who combines strong subject expertise with innovative teaching methods, effectively integrating technology to enhance learning. Beyond the classroom, the teacher plays a vital role in learner development, assessment, and meaningful engagement with parents and colleagues.

Commencement date: 21 July or asap thereafter.

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Art Education (Afrikaans and English) or equivalent.
• SACE registration - essential.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' teaching experience in Art Education (IEB experience advantageous).
• Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills.
• Proficient in integrating technology into teaching.
• Police clearance and clearance from the National Register for Sex Offenders (NRSO).
• Commitment to Simond Private School's Christian ethos and educational philosophy.

• 5+ years' experience.
• Experience in working with parents is advantageous.
• Co-curricular activities, example Sport.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong academic Art knowledge.
