Aquarium Maintenance
Job Description
Dorry Pets is seeking a full-time Aquarium Maintenance Technician to service and maintain aquariums at client locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting residential and commercial clients to ensure their aquariums remain clean, healthy, and visually appealing.
Key duties include performing routine maintenance such as water changes, tank cleaning, gravel vacuuming, and monitoring water quality. The role also involves inspecting and maintaining filtration systems and equipment, feeding fish where required, and identifying any signs of illness or imbalance in aquatic environments. The technician will be responsible for transporting necessary equipment and supplies to client sites and maintaining a consistent service schedule.
In addition, the candidate will interact directly with clients, providing professional advice on aquarium care, recommending products or improvements, and representing Dorry Pets in a courteous and knowledgeable manner.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for aquatic life, strong attention to detail, good time management, and the ability to work independently. A valid driver's license is typically required, and previous experience with aquariums or maintenance work is advantageous, though training will be provided.
