This pivotal role focuses on strengthening ties with a global alumni network while providing high-level administrative and financial support to the school's endowment and scholarship trusts. The successful candidate will act as a key link between the school and its supporters, ensuring that data is managed accurately and donor relationships are nurtured with professionalism. Key Responsibilities
  • Alumni Engagement: Facilitate active communication and networking across various matric year groups and regions to maintain a vibrant alumni community.
  • Trust Administration: Execute the day-to-day administrative requirements for multiple school trusts, including the tracking of pledges and donor recognition.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain precise logs of subscriptions, membership fees, and donations while supporting the finance team with income reconciliations.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly financial summaries for trustee meetings and coordinate the documentation required for Section 18A tax certificates.
  • CRM Management: Oversee the integrity of the alumni and donor database, ensuring all records are compliant and updated to support engagement dashboards.
  • Events & Communications: Manage the logistics for alumni gatherings and fundraising events, including the coordination of invitations and post-event donor stewardship.
  • Mentorship Coordination: Facilitate opportunities for alumni to engage in mentorship programmes for scholarship recipients.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in high-level administration with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with senior donors and high-profile alumni.
  • Demonstrated experience in event coordination and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and donor correspondence.
  • A high degree of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial and personal data.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within an educational setting, non-profit organisation, or alumni relations department.
  • Experience in fundraising or donor-centric environments.
Required Software Skills
  • Google Workspace
  • CRM systems (Alumnet experience is highly advantageous)
