Key Responsibilities- Alumni Engagement: Facilitate active communication and networking across various matric year groups and regions to maintain a vibrant alumni community.
- Trust Administration: Execute the day-to-day administrative requirements for multiple school trusts, including the tracking of pledges and donor recognition.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain precise logs of subscriptions, membership fees, and donations while supporting the finance team with income reconciliations.
- Reporting & Compliance: Prepare monthly financial summaries for trustee meetings and coordinate the documentation required for Section 18A tax certificates.
- CRM Management: Oversee the integrity of the alumni and donor database, ensuring all records are compliant and updated to support engagement dashboards.
- Events & Communications: Manage the logistics for alumni gatherings and fundraising events, including the coordination of invitations and post-event donor stewardship.
- Mentorship Coordination: Facilitate opportunities for alumni to engage in mentorship programmes for scholarship recipients.
- Proven experience in high-level administration with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage professionally with senior donors and high-profile alumni.
- Demonstrated experience in event coordination and stakeholder management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting reports and donor correspondence.
- A high degree of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive financial and personal data.
- Previous experience working within an educational setting, non-profit organisation, or alumni relations department.
- Experience in fundraising or donor-centric environments.
- Google Workspace
- CRM systems (Alumnet experience is highly advantageous)
