Kendrick Recruitment is seeking talented and passionate chefs at all levels, from Commis to Senior Chef, to join a luxury restaurant in Paarl. This is an excellent opportunity for culinary professionals looking to develop their skills and contribute to a high-end dining experience.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook dishes to the restaurant's quality and presentation standards
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and plating
- Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
- Support the kitchen team in daily operations, including prep work, stock management, and inventory
- Assist with menu development and special events as required
- Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
- Relevant culinary qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a luxury restaurant or high-end hospitality environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen protocols
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Passionate about food, with creativity and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
