Aftercare - Language Teacher

If you have a passion for teaching languages and want to help children reach their full potential, this position at Babylonstoren's Aftercare Centre is ideal for you.

Requirements
  • Qualified in the teaching of languages.
  • Proficiency in teaching other subjects will be advantageous.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English, with excellent communication skills.
  • Available to work Mondays to Thursdays from 14:00 to 17:00.
  • Willing to support Grade 4-12 learners with homework and targeted intervention.
  • Goal-driven, patient, and enthusiastic about working with learners.
  • In possession of a valid driver's licence and PDP (Code 8).
  • Own reliable transport.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and present supplementary exercises, assignments, and tests to promote learners' language development on a daily basis.
  • Lead activities during school holidays (holiday programmes).
  • Continuously monitor learners' progress and provide meaningful feedback.
