Is God calling you to use your organizational skills to digitize existing files and set up and organize an archiving system for important documents for legislative and historic purposes?
This person will help to organize, digitize and archive important documents stored in South Africa. This will serve both historic and legislative purpose. This person will have access to documents of many kinds, so he or she must have a serious understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
Responsibilities- Sort all papers alphabetically and according to content, dates, significance etc.
- Create or update records with new files and information
- Store all legislative and historic paperwork in designated places securing the important documents
- Enter paperwork into an electronic system either by data entry or by using optical scanners
- Set up an electronic archiving system for the organization
- Develop an efficient filing system to make updating and retrieving files easier
- Follow policies and confidentiality dictations to safeguard data and information
- Experience in file management
- Knowledge of filing systems
- Written and spoken English
- Dependable with a respect to confidentiality and policies
