A client of ours within the property/construction sector is looking for an experienced Accountant to take full responsibility for the accounting function of five small to medium-sized property companies. The candidate will manage end-to-end accounting processes, tenant invoicing on Re Leased, and debtor management while working on Xero

Johannesburg

• SAIPA- qualified Accountant
• Mathematics taken in high school
• Minimum of 5 years' full function accounting experience
• Experience working on Xero is essential
• Property industry experience highly advantageous

• Full accounting function for multiple property companies including:
  • Processing transactions
  • Reconciling all accounts
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
• Invoice tenants through Re Leased and follow up on outstanding payments
• Manage cash flow, budgets, and monthly reporting
• Prepare audit packs and liaise with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Collaborate with the property team on lease information, renewals, and escalations
