Account Manager: Commercial (KAM)
Job Description

We provide advanced fleet management, asset tracking, and data analytics solutions that help businesses operate more efficiently and safely. We are currently looking for an Account Manager: Commercial to join our team. This role focuses on managing and nurturing an existing client base, while also identifying opportunities to grow accounts and generate additional revenue. The role involves regular client engagement and travel to ensure strong relationships and consistent service delivery.
- Manage and maintain relationships with an allocated portfolio of commercial clients.
- Conduct regular client visits, account reviews, and fleet health checks to ensure clients are fully supported.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through additional solutions and services.
- Provide product training and guidance to clients on Cartrack's platforms and solutions.
- Resolve client queries and ensure service issues are addressed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate client information, activity tracking, and reporting on the CRM system.
- Monitor client satisfaction and work proactively to improve retention and engagement.
- Assist clients with fleet reporting, system alerts, and portal usage.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery and installations.
- Contribute to brand awareness by promoting Cartrack's solutions during client engagements.
- Matric (Grade 12).
- A tertiary qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in account management / key account management, client relationship management, and sales.
- Strong ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Comfortable travelling for regular face to face client visits.
- Proven ability to identify sales opportunities within existing accounts.
- Strong problem solving skills with a customer focused approach.
- Good administrative skills and experience using CRM systems.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Valid driver's license.
