With offices in Johannesburg and Cape Town, they are progressive with regard to their technology stack. Their solutions and services span the full range of the software development life cycle. What you will be doing:- Quickly handle all inbound sales inquiries from various sources.
- Proactively develop prospect lists using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Conduct effective outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) to generate qualified leads.
- Build light account plans for priority prospects, including mapping stakeholders.
- Qualify all leads against the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria (need, budget, authority, etc.).
- Book and thoroughly prepare discovery meetings and product demos for senior sales staff.
- Maintain consistent, value adding contact to nurture opportunities and ensure momentum.
- Execute structured follow up post meetings and proposals, confirming next steps and timelines.
- Accurately log all activities and update opportunity stages within the CRM system.
- Provide pipeline reports and collaborate with marketing on lead quality and messaging feedback.
- 2 - 4 years in B2B sales (inside sales, business development, or account development).
- Ability to confidently engage senior stakeholders.
- Proven consultative approach for prospect discovery and qualification.
- Experience using a CRM and adherence to a structured sales process.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to manage time and multiple prospects simultaneously.
- Exhibits persistence, professionalism, and a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong commercial acumen, proactivity, drive, excellent relationship building, and organisation/attention to detail.
- Experience in SaaS/software services, or familiarity with the higher education/TVET markets and outbound prospecting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) would be beneficial.
