Job Description

We are seeking anexperienced and dependable 48-VandalismTeam Leader with strong RF and Microwave expertise to lead andcoordinate vandalism response teams. The role is responsible for overseeingnetwork protection, fault response, restoration activities, and ensuring teamperformance, safety, and compliance with operational standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead andcoordinate team response to vandalism incidents at network sites.
  • Allocatetasks, supervise field teams, and ensure efficient execution of work.
  • Perform RFand microwave link inspections and advanced fault finding.
  • Overseerrestoration of damaged network equipment and verify quality of repairs.
  • Conduct siteaudits, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
  • Act as theprimary point of contact between field teams, technicians, and networkoperations.
  • Ensure fullcompliance with safety, HSE, and operational standards.
  • Review,approve, and submit accurate reports and documentation on time.
  • Provideon-site leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to team members.
Job Requirements
  • Matric plustechnical tertiary Qualifications (i.e. EE N4-N6, Electrical trade test, EE S3-S4)
  • Trade testplus Wireman's license (Valid Electrician Certificate of Competence)
  • Valid SouthAfrican driving license - Code 10/C1 or higher.
  • Clearcriminal record.
  • Experience /substantial exposure to similar role/ function is required.
HSE Competency Requirements
  • Validoccupational medical certificate for driving.
  • First Aidtraining.
  • RiskAssessment certificate.
  • DefensiveDriving certification.
  • 4x4certification.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in asimilar role.
  • Proficient in the use ofRF/microwave test equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, power meters, sitemasters)
  • Strong understanding of antennasystems, feeders, grounding, and lightning protection.
  • Experience inbasic welding and drilling for site repairs, brackets and equipment mounting.
  • Ability to work at heights, inoutdoor environments , on rooftops, or remote telecom sites.
  • Physically fit and able to liftequipment and work on-site.
  • Strong attention to detail andcommitment to safety.
