Ekum Title, has been a continuous abstract and title company since 1897 providing title related services for the real estate industry in Green County. Realtors, lenders, attorneys, real estate developers and home builders rely on our consistent, dependable services that are continually tailored to meet individual needs. As a full-service company, Ekum Title, LLC provides abstracts, title insurance and closing services, for all types of real estate for Green County. Service is known to be the cornerstone of the age old company. The entire staff and office operations are exclusively focused on land title. Final pay is negotiable, based on experience. This position is located on-site, no remote work. Summary We are seeking a Title Searcher to join our team at Ekum Title, LLC. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of title information for real estate transactions. Your contributions will directly support our mission of providing exceptional service to our clients. Essential Duties: • Research the history of a particular property, to access the public records, and to find its risks (or lack thereof) of insurability. This includes locating records about property taxes, liens and judgments, bankruptcy, mortgages, easements, restrictions and foreclosure proceedings during or preceding the title’s existence. • Research and computer-based skills. • They would also perform other duties as assigned by management. Job Functions: • Examine and verify title vesting on properties and verify the legal description of the property. • Search public real estate records, and tax records. • Examine document found in search, such as deeds, mortgage, easements, restrictions, judgments, liens. • Prepare title documents such as reports and title commitments. • Compile lists of mortgages, contracts, and other instruments pertaining to titles by searching public and private records for law firms, real estate agencies, or lenders. A Title and Abstract Company Located in Miami-Dade County is looking for an experienced Title Searcher and/or Title Examiner to search the Public Records within the State of Florida. The Title Searcher will perform Title Commitments, Title Search Report, Ownership and Encumbrance Report, and updating Title as well. Experienced working with Ramquest and ATIDS system, is preferred but not required. Candidate with a minimum of Two-year experience and with the ability to handle large volumes of work.
