This construction site job is long-term, permanent work at a fabrication shop. Must pass a blueprint reading Test at the construction site. This is a permanent full-time job, and the salary depends on experience. Working at a fabrication shop in Harvey, Louisiana. A Structural Fitter should have experience in fitting using various metals and materials, as well as a strong understanding of safety protocols, and no TWIC card is needed. The successful structural fitter or ship fitter construction candidate will be responsible for reading blueprints, interpreting sketches, and using specialized tools to complete projects in a timely manner at the fabrication shop, working with a welder. We are looking for a construction fitter who is able to work independently and is highly motivated to produce quality work as a structural fitter. We are presently seeking highly skilled and experienced personnel to work in our fast-paced production facility. Exceptional quality, attention to detail, and excellent time management skills are of unconditional importance. Successful applicants are required to be reliable, motivated, and possess the ability to work with limited supervision.
