Machine Operator (BO1-Drill)
We are looking for Entry Level Machine Operators to join our team at Lakeside Book Company. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help craft books that end up in the hands of readers across the country. No experience necessary! We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful.
Machine Operator Starting Rate: $19.54 an hour with shift differential for night shift.

Machine Operator (Assistant Press Operator)
Lakeside Book Company is looking for skilled machine operators to assist us in running the latest technology in high speed offset printing presses. As the largest bookmaker in the United States, you will help craft books that end up in the hands of readers across the country and learn a skilled trade that will be in high demand for as long as people continue to seek knowledge.
Starting Rate: $21.41 an hour for 3a-3p shift
• 100% Paid Uniforms

Backyard Products in Monroe, MI is looking for qualified, hard working, dedicated Machine Operators to join our Mill team.
Our Machine Operators are responsible for set up and full operation of mass production of shed parts, cutting, and drilling of lumber, OSB, plywood and siding. They are also the first line of assurance in quality control – insuring precision holes and cuts, quality parts and efficient, accurate quantities and yields. The Mill Team plays a critical role in our business and producing quality sheds and play structures that provide 100% customer satisfaction. This is a physical position with a lot of time standing which will take most new people a few weeks to get accustomed to the physical demands.
This is a fast paced and energetic environment. You will be running various machines and handling various wooden structures.
Compensation:
• Ability to earn up to $18.00 per hour (Depending on experience, shift, tenure, performance, and attendance), plus an additional $1.00 per hour for shift premium
• The Mill is currently working S – Th, shift starts at 7:30pm – approximately 6am with required seasonal OT (working up to 10 hour days, working Fridays and some Saturdays)
Primary Responsibilities:
• Physical & strenuous labor that requires repetitive movements (standing, bending, squatting, twisting, lifting and reaching)
• Secure and maintain material and supplies to operate machine according to work instructions
• Perform equipment change-overs
• May operate hand tools to complete the production process
• Completes pre-shift / start up equipment inspection
• Continually watches machine to ensure quality
• Operate within standard operation procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
• Complete daily production logs
• Clean and maintain work area
• Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow specific work instructions
• Working knowledge of mathematical functions
• Basic understanding of computer equipment
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery

The Forklift/Mule Operator supports the sustainability efforts facilitating the movement of incoming and outgoing products through the warehouse & manufacturing area. Has experience in forklift operations. Follows all Safety, GMP, and Food Safety policies and procedures.

Responsible for transporting guests to and from the hotel to local area attractions as well as assisting the guest with recommendations for restaurants and tourist activities.
