This opportunity is a full-time, non-exempt position and offers full benefits. • Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Develops and implements Recreation Therapy treatment plans in conjunction with and attends the interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. • Provides therapy consistent with level of growth, development, age, and functioning. • Provides therapy consistent with overall treatment goals. • Completes Recreation Therapy section of the treatment plan within 72 hours of admission for assigned patients. • Completes progress notes for assigned patients. Qualifications EDUCATION: Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy OR Master’s Degree in Art Education Licensure/Certifications: Required: Board Certification (MT-BC) OR eligibility to sit for national exam conducted through the Certification Board for Music Therapist (CBMT) licensure OR LPATA with supervision or LPAT/ATR-BC required. BLS Certification Crisis intervention certification required – offered upon hire EXPERIENCE: Previous mental health experience preferred. Inpatient experience preferred.
