Job Purpose and Impact The Regional Corn Germ and Oil Manufacturing Technology Engineer will provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise in three North America plants, optimizing the performance of existing assets and effectively collaborate with manufacturing excellence teams and other functions. In this role, you will drive efficient and safe performance including process capabilities, hazard analysis, process safety management, performance monitoring, technical training and process improvements, support the training and development for the specific manufacturing technology in the region. Key Accountabilities • Provide leadership for the implementation of improvement projects, plans, technics, tools and quality standards across sites. • Coordinate and lead the creation of related policies for plants in alignment with manufacturing technology governance. • Support the application of work processes as designed within the specific manufacturing technology domain. • Provide manufacturing technology expertise to plants, partnering with local teams and subject matter experts to identify and resolve root causes to emerging issues. • Act as a resource for plants on current safety standards and enhance the future safety of our facilities. • Lead the deployment of risk management practices and safeguards within a specific manufacturing technology, understanding safety, process safety, food safety, regulatory and environmental standards, policies and codes. • Identify opportunities and gaps in required levels of specific manufacturing technology knowledge, expertise and experiences and provide coaching to talent. • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify issues or problems. You may provide direction to supporting team members and be a strategic contributor. • Other duties as assigned #LI-AC6 Qualifications Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience, • Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 10 years or more of relevant experience.
