We are looking for a dependable, motivated Small Engine & Power Equipment Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing and repairing small engines and outdoor equipment such as mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, UTVs, and compact tractors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on 2- and 4-stroke engines and related outdoor power equipment
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation
• Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on new equipment
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding repair needs and status
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and certifications
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience with small engine repair preferred
• Experience with brands like Honda, Kawasaki, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton, STIHL, or similar is a plus
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and read service manuals
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions

Primary Responsibilities
• Repair all assigned units safely, correctly, and efficiently
• Accurately document all work performed to each unit on the work order for invoicing
• Accurately capture all product information including serial number, model number, and other required information for the proper filing of warranty claims
• Clean repaired units prior to moving them to the outbound area for delivery
• Reference parts via computer and retrieve parts from storage when needed
• Keep work area clean and organized

Ideal Candidate Traits:
• Mechanical Experience: Previous experience working as a mechanic is required— Highly preferred that the individual has previous small engine repair experience (automotive mechanics are also welcome if they are willing and motivated to learn & get certifications). Understanding of mechanical systems, 4 stroke, 2 stroke, tools, and diagnostics is essential.

Position Summary:
