Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Medical Office Specialist to join our Oncology practice. This position involves both front and back office duties, including patient registration, patient check in/out, appointment scheduling, copay/balance collection, patient triage, assisting medical professionals in an office setting, running patients during clinic hours, and performing insurance verification and prior authorizations. • Maintains clean and welcoming physical environment of the reception area. Maintains signage and clarity of information displayed in reception area. Required Qualifications:

We seek a personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office). You must type 60 WPM and have a high school diploma or GED. Medical secretary or secretarial certification is preferred-as is at least 1 year in a related administrative position in a medical setting.
