We are dynamic, responsible, and full of new ideas. THE ROLE: We are currently seeking a Contract Mechanical Drafter/Modeler to support ongoing engineering and design projects on a temporary basis. This position involves producing and updating detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings of valve assemblies and components. The ideal candidate will bring strong CAD skills, mechanical drafting experience, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Create and update 3D assemblies and detailed 2D drawings using CAD tools. • Ensure drawings include correct tolerances, material specs, and compliance with design standards. • Work with engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to integrate updates and change notices. • Assist with document control efforts and support drawing management in PDM systems. • Participate in engineering change orders and drafting standardization efforts. • Assist production teams in interpreting technical drawings or resolving discrepancies. • Support ongoing and short-term engineering improvement initiatives. • Perform other related duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, CAD, Engineering Technology, or two years of relevant work experience. • Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoDesk, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar. • Working knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling, including creating assemblies from design inputs. • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and/or Product Data Management (PDM) tools. • Solid understanding of drafting standards and GD&T, mechanical and manufacturing processes, material specifications, and tolerance stacking. • Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions • Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
