As a Table Games Dealer Trainee, you will learn to deal different games such as Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and Baccarat while delivering exceptional guest service. You will be trained to accurately manage game transactions, protect the integrity of play, communicate with guests and supervisors, and ensure a professional and engaging table experience. Successful completion of this program can start your career as a Table Games Dealer at our property!
THE SCHEDULE:
Program Begins: Tuesday, September 22, 2026
8-hour classes Tuesday - Friday
7:00am - 3:00pm or 12:00pm - 8:00pm (pick one)
Classes Offered:
• 6-week program: Blackjack and Roulette
• 9-week program training on Blackjack and Craps
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
• Hands-On Game Training: Learn to deal popular casino games with accuracy, professionalism, and energy in a live-paced learning environment.
• Guest Service Excellence: Practice delivering exceptional guest experiences, building confidence in communication and service standards.
• Game Integrity: Understand and apply rules, procedures, and regulations to ensure fairness, accuracy, and a safe gaming environment. Learn how to accurately manage game transactions such as fills, credits, chip exchanges, and markers to ensure integrity of the game.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a basic math test.
• Ability to attend all training classes.

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$15.30
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.

Responsibilities
• Complies with Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, approved internal controls, as well as company policies.

• Control pace/protection of the game and inform the Supervisor of any request or unusual play

• Exchange cash for gaming chips according to established procedures
• Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards.
• Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel.
• Maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice, ensure betting in compliance with game rules and minimums set.
• Close game, sort cards, balance rack, count chips, and sign off with the supervisor.
• Assist guests with questions on casino activities or refer to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous live casino dealing experience or completion of an approved training course in card and dice games.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills.
• Must possess excellent math skills and have the ability to multi-task.

Work Experience
To be successful as a Table Games Dealer, youll need: To have previous Blackjack training and or experience. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid gaming license required
• Excellent cash handling and basic math skills
• Proficiency in dealing various table games
• Understanding of sports betting processes and terminology
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
• Knowledge of gaming regulations and procedures
• Previous experience in casino operations or sports betting preferred
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain focus in a high-energy environment
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
