Responsibilities:
• Process guest transactions while ensuring a positive guest experience.
• Ensure that all transactions are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Processes cashier transactions, including redeeming coupons, cashing checks, and making change.
• Receives, secures, balances, handles, counts, reconciles, and distributes large sum of money publicly and accurately during scheduled shift.
• Maintain custody of funds and records of those funds, and prepare reports and transaction records for the assigned bank.
• Processes documentation based on current gaming regulations and department procedures.
• Check guests for proper identification.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age and able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Support Gaming License.
• 1-2 years prior cash handling or cashier experience required.
• 1-2 years prior guest service experience required.
• Ability to work in high volume, sometimes loud ever-changing environment.
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge.
• Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills with the ability to deal with guests.
• Ability to speak and write English.Ability to communicate information through spoken words and sentences that others will understand.
• Ability to read and understand information and instructions presented in writing.

The Assistant Manager of Cash Operations and Player Services is responsible and accountable for the operation of the Cage & Player Services Department. Assist in developing and implementation of procedures to ensure the security of gaming funds, assets and players’ information as they relate to the operation. Provides quality guest service/satisfaction to increase rated play. Works closely with and supports special events and promotions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB PURPOSE: The function of a casino cage cashier is to exchange funds with our internal and external guests. Guests come to the cage to redeem slot machine tickets, table games chips, and gaming machine tokens. In addition to these responsibilities, cashiers also help guests cash checks / cash advances at the cage. We also provide a service to all internal departments, i.e. paying out slot jackpots, table fills revenue banks etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Safeguards all company assets.
• Redeem coins, tokens, chips, slot tickets; currency exchange, cash checks and coupons for guests.
• Act as slot/chip bank cashier handling table fills, hopper fills, and payout of jackpots to the slot department, or work as main bank cashier to prepare banks for casino departments, accept transfers from the count room and cashiers; and, prepare bankrolls for cashiers and deposits for bank.
• May assist supervisor with cage transaction approvals, and oversee cage as back-up in the absence of supervisor.
