Position: X3 Enrolled Nurse Fin 4 Medical Ward Introduction

X3 vacancies exist for Enrolled Nurses in Fin 4, based at Life Entabeni Hospital, reporting to Unit Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of quality patient care.

• Conduct basic duties as allocated by the Unit Manager.
• Deliver quality nursing care to patients according to Scope of Practice
• Maintain sound professional relationships with all patients, doctors and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
• Ensure customer satisfaction
• Comply with all Health, Safety and Infection Control Policies.
• Supervise subordinates and provide guidance where necessary.
• Provide health education to patients and staff.
• Assist in the management of stock in the unit
• Flexibility to work shifts on a rotational basis as requested.
• Assist in the monitoring of patients on Chemotherapy and blood products.
• Ensure effective record keeping
• The candidate must be able to be empathetic in nature.
• The candidate must have mental and physical stamina.
