Job Description

CopperQuail Global is recruiting on behalf of a leading Renewable Energy IPP for an experienced Wind Development Manager to support the growth of their project pipeline across Africa.

This is a key role focused on driving wind project development from early stage through to financial close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead greenfield wind project development
  • Manage acquisition of brownfield projects
  • Coordinate tender submissions and bid processes
  • Oversee land, legal, and development workstreams
  • Drive new business development across the region
  • Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility of projects
  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in wind energy project development
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related field
  • Strong experience across development planning, tenders, and project execution
  • Solid understanding of the renewable energy regulatory environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
