Job DescriptionCopperQuail Global is recruiting on behalf of a leading Renewable Energy IPP for an experienced Wind Development Manager to support the growth of their project pipeline across Africa.
This is a key role focused on driving wind project development from early stage through to financial close.
Key Responsibilities- Lead greenfield wind project development
- Manage acquisition of brownfield projects
- Coordinate tender submissions and bid processes
- Oversee land, legal, and development workstreams
- Drive new business development across the region
- Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility of projects
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget
- 5+ years' experience in wind energy project development
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or related field
- Strong experience across development planning, tenders, and project execution
- Solid understanding of the renewable energy regulatory environment
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
