Firewater is looking for a webmaster/WordPress Developer extraordinaire with a keen eye for detail and a love for digital technologies. If you are excited by digital marketing and the endless possibilities and dream about the perfect IA and UX, read on:

Responsibilities
  • Being an oracle for website technical scoping and planning
  • Implementation of websites including e-commerce and landing page builds (primarily WordPress, HTML, PHP, CSS, JS)
  • Website maintenance & upgrades
  • Website and newsletter content publication
  • Debugging, bug fixing, QA and reporting
  • Client training on CMS & EDM platforms
Requirements
  • sFTP/FTP, cPanel, WHM, Plesk, and/or other hosting control panel
  • Writing and modifying WordPress custom themes, plugins and functions
  • MySQL & SQL databases
  • Visual Studio and other IDEs
  • Working with ticketing/helpdesk systems
  • Adobe Photoshop (basics) or equivalent image editor
  • Use of social media platforms, including management and reporting tools
  • SEO software (SEMRush, Ahrefs, GTmetrix, Google Suite of products and others)
  • Logging of time
Job requirements
  • Logical approach to projects & tasks
  • Understanding of website architecture and content placement
  • Extreme keen eye for detail and aesthetics, down to the last pixel
  • Excellent grammar and spelling (English)
  • Sound communication skills
  • Team player
  • Driven and motivated to complete work at all costs
  • Disciplined with time management and recording
