In South Africa, we have a workforce of over 450 staff.About the Role:Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
Warehouse Operations- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels.
- Assist in optimising warehouse layout and organisation for space utilisation.
- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse staff to maintain high-performance standards and a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
- Address any issues or conflicts within the team in a timely and effective manner
- Provide leadership and guidance to warehouse staff, ensuring company policy and procedure adherence.
- Motivate the team to maintain high-performance standards and a positive work environment.
- Assist in coordinating vehicle activities for transportation and delivery.
- Support the development and execution of effective route plans.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in regular inspections and implement measures to promote a safe working environment.
Education and Experience:
- National Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)
- Diploma or relevant certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 3 -5 years in a similar position
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or a similar role preferred.
