Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Allocate stock from bulk to pick face slots on the system
  • Ensure that all bin locations are updated and all movements are recorded daily in WMS and the record book.
  • Allocate bin locations for new products as per stock demand
  • Allocate storage location for discontinued and damaged stock
  • Ensure that there are no damaged packages prior to moving stock to the required bin location.
  • Oversee Replenishment of bin location in compliance with stock holding/picking principles: front to back, top to bottom, left to right
  • Oversee replenishment according to pack size and analysis the stock movement as per bin locations
  • Ensure all picked products are in a clean and saleable condition
  • Raise any expired stock, damaged stock, or out-of-stock concerns with line manager
  • Ensure stock rotation procedures are followed (FIFO)
  • Oversee cycle counts for identified stock items weekly
  • Perform stock counts for identified stock items and report results to line manager
  • Monitor stock holding levels per pick face and raise any need for stock replenishment
  • Monitor shelf utilisation and raise any areas of concern with staff and line manager
  • Lead and work together with team members to ensure that team goals are achieved
  • Comply with Health and Safety requirements
  • Adhere to warehouse standard operating procedures (SOP's)
  • Adhere to housekeeping standards e.g. ensure all areas are free from wrapping, waste, and damaged stock
  • Handle all stock in accordance with stock handling signage, e.g. this way up, handle with care
  • Ensure that damages are kept to a minimum and recorded and submitted to warehouse management
  • Record, investigate and report all damaged or missing stock to line manager
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and monitor the FIFO methods
  • Managing stock in hand and reconcile with stock in WMS
  • Ensure department housekeeping, and compliance with Health safety requirements
  • Perform other general warehouse duties across various warehouse functions as and when required in support of operational efficiencies and requirements
  • Participate in performance management and training for the development of the team competencies
  • Manage personnel time and attendance, including absenteeism
  • Ensure adherence in performance management process for the development of the competencies
  • Identify and execute training needs of subordinates and on job coaching
Job Requirements
  • Grade 12 required
  • Knowledge of various cosmetics and fragrances products advantage
  • At least 5 years as a Warehouse Supervisor Experience
  • Certificate in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain Management
  • Computer literacy and understanding of WMS
