Summary:
The Associate Supervisor will oversee the management of a department within theSouth AfricaWarehouse organization to ensure our clients receive the highest possible service. They willbe responsible forensuring service levels and business targets are achieved whilst keeping safety and quality at the heart of the operation.The WarehouseSupervisor will drive theSouth AfricaWarehouse strategy and coach and develop the team to be high performing and deliver results.
What you will do- Lead a diverse team of up to 8 direct reports.
- Support the Warehouse Manager in achieving business targets andobjectiveswith direct responsibility for the returns department.
- Coordinate daily work assignments and delegate tasks to team members based on operational priorities and workload requirements
- Conduct daily team briefings to assign responsibilities, communicate priorities, and ensure clear understanding of shift objectives
- Plan andallocatedaily tasks among warehouse staff tooptimizeworkflow and ensure operational targets are met.
- Collaborate withneighboringfunctions to exceed the customers' expectations.
- Analyseperformance andidentifycontinuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders at local and regionallevel.
- Develop talent and create an environment where employees can flourish.
- Ensure team members are trained and competent in all activities undertaken.
- Drive engagement to align with the company's culture.
- Promote a safe working environment and champion quality.
- Be an expert in departmentalprocess.
- Any other reasonable request in line with the operational needs of the business.
Required:
- Matric
- Diploma/Relevant Tertiary qualification/certificate,NQF6(or equivalent)
- Professional Working Proficiency in English communication
- 3 - 5 years' Experienceleading a diverse team in a warehouse environment.
- LEAN Six Sigma Green or Black belt qualification is an advantage.
- A working knowledge of Warehouse processes and ERP/WMS (JDE or similar) is essential.
- DemonstratedAdvancedEXCELproficiencysuch as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and other formulas.

- Tertiary Educationi.e.College or University
