YOUR ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Contract Logistics Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, to manage a team of warehouse workers and to ensure that all warehouse activities are performed safely, efficiently, accurately and within budget.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
  • Main areas of focus and accountability of the role - detail in order of importance the main areas of accountability of the role:
  • Manage and supervise a team of warehouse workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and feedback.
  • Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods and materials.
  • Ensure that all warehouse activities are performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures, including inventory management, quality control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure that stock is replenished as needed. Coordinate with other departments, including logistics, sales, and customer service, to ensure that all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
  • Manage the physical layout of the warehouse, including organizing and maintaining storage areas and optimizing space utilization.
  • Use warehouse management systems and other software tools to track inventory levels, monitor warehouse performance, and generate reports.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the warehouse and equipment to identify and address any safety or maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities and ensure that all documentation is properly filed and archived.
  • Be compliance with any CEVA Business Rules and Core Values.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems, inventory management, and logistics operations
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed
