Unity Developer (Mid-Level)

Location: Midrand (Hybrid - 2-3 days office)
Start Date: 1 April 2026
Salary: R700,000 per annum (Gross)

About the Role

Our client is expanding its global development division into South Africa and is seeking a Unity Developer to support the graphics and interactive gaming platform.

This role will focus on the development of high-performance, real-time graphical environments and gaming interfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain interactive gaming interfaces using Unity
  • Implement graphical features and animations
  • Optimise performance of real-time 3D systems
  • Work closely with global product teams
  • Participate in testing and code reviews
  • Support ongoing enhancements and new product features
Requirements
  • 3-6+ years Unity development experience
  • Strong C# programming skills
  • Experience building 2D/3D real-time applications
  • Understanding of performance optimisationExperience in gaming, simulation, or interactive systems advantageous
  • Ability to work independently in hybrid environment
Preferred
  • Experience in regulated or casino environments
  • Knowledge of graphics pipelines
  • Strong debugging capability
