Job Title: Packaging Projects Engineer - North West

Responsibilities
  • Technical management of complex packaging projects for the group.
  • Development of new packaging for UK sites.
  • Global expertise in packaging materials and machinery to support the company's cost leadership ambitions.
  • Apply global knowledge and competence in packaging materials, concepts, production, filling technologies, packaging equipment, and environmental impact to create optimal packaging solutions.
  • Portfolio Manager of UK value engineering projects.
  • Develop new household packaging for the UK market, independent of site, aligning with market needs and Category Development (from artistic design to mock up and industrialisation) and UK Pack Team resources.
Qualifications
  • Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (or related engineering field) with experience in large projects (>£1M investments).
  • 5+ years' experience in a production environment (packaging, filling, blow moulding).
  • Fluency in project management tools.
  • Knowledge in packaging and packaging technologies.
  • Deep technical understanding of machinery.
