ARE YOU OUR NEXT TRANSPORT SUPERVISOR?Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for logistics, operational efficiency, and team development? We're looking for a hands-on Transport Supervisor to take charge of our branch's last-mile delivery operations. In this role, you'll lead the coordination of daily transport activities, ensure full compliance with road and fleet regulations, and drive cost-effective, customer-focused solutions. YOUR CORE FOCUS AREAS:
Transport Operations Management
• Plan, manage, and optimize daily transport operations, including routing, dispatch, and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with transport policies and legal regulations.
• Drive efficiency through technology, route optimization, and cost control.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve communication and deliveryprocesses.
Fleet Management
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, servicing, and licensing.
• Ensure fleet compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor costs and recommend fleet procurement or disposal strategies.
• Analyze vehicle and driver usage for improved efficiency.
Risk & Compliance
• Conduct safety audits and enforce health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and ensure OHSA adherence.
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
• Manage third-party transport providers and ensure service quality.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and support audit compliance.
• Collaborate with customer service to meet delivery expectations.
Budget Management
• Monitor transport-related expenditures and stay within budget.
• Analyze variances and implement cost-saving initiatives.
People Management
• Lead and develop the transport team.
• Manage performance, training, recruitment, and disciplinary actions.
Fleet Department Functions
• Manage vehicle procurement, branding, supplier negotiations, and fleet policy compliance.
• Support technical issues and ensure roadworthiness across regions.
Transport Compliance Functions
• Ensure vehicles comply with NRTA and licensing requirements.
• Manage fuel usage, traffic fines, driver accountability, and incident reporting.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric.
• Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Transport / Operations Management / Logistics Management /
Supply Chain Management.
• 3 - 5 years' experience in a transport supervisory role within a fleet / logistics environment.
• 1 - 2 years' management experience.
