Position PurposeA Trainee Yard Official will be required to undergo modular training, conduct and successfully complete the required modules as to qualify and be certified as a Yard Official.
Position Outputs- Attend and complete a theoretical Training Program within the required time frame.
- Attend and complete a practical Training Program within the required time frame.
- Develop competency to perform operations and operate equipment as assigned and be accountable for jobs at end of training period.
- Safely and efficiently accomplish work assignments and goals that are in line with the Training Program, company's strategies and vision.
- Maintain comprehensive records (portfolio of evidence) of all theoretical and practical training experience for use in progressing.
- Minimum Standard: GRADE 12
- Must successfully pass a psychological screening battery test
- Must successfully pass relevant medical test (including eyes and ears) for the job level
- Physically fit
- Must successfully complete and pass theoretical and practical training as a Yard Official
