The successful candidate will assist with the marketing of wool and mohair while building strong, trust-based relationships with producers. Through technical advisory support and excellent customer engagement, you will contribute to retaining and expanding BKB's share of the South African wool and mohair clip.

Minimum Requirements (Qualifications & Experience)
  • Agricultural Diploma or Degree in Agricultural Science
  • At least 2 years' experience in agriculture or farming
  • Proven knowledge of sheep and wool production
  • Marketing experience will be advantageous
  • Fully bilingual (English and Afrikaans) with a strong ability to communicate in Afrikaans
  • Good computer literacy (MS Office and relevant systems)
  • Valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the marketing of wool and mohair to producers
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular farm visits
  • Provide technical advisory support on sheep production and wool quality
  • Assist producers with flock management and implementation of best production practices
  • Identify opportunities to grow market share within allocated areas
  • Maintain accurate client records and market information
  • Monitor industry trends and provide feedback to management
