OverviewAs the Team Lead, you will be responsible for the oversight of tax compliance across Tax Services, preparing and maintaining Tax Policies, Procedures and Guides, and managing the Tax Compliance team. You will play a crucial role in recruiting and retaining talented staff, monitoring compliance, providing escalation support for the Tax Delivery team, and maintaining a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients and stakeholders. In addition, you will lead efforts to enhance the efficiency and control of our tax services through technology and process improvements.
Responsibilities- Monitoring: Monitor and maximise the accuracy of Tax Delivery, ensuring that Tax Delivery tasks are completed correctly and within agreed timelines.
- Process: Ensure Tax Services are supported by effective policies processes and controls, and that all staff members adhere to specified processes and guidelines, maintaining consistency and compliance in service delivery.
- Stakeholder Interaction: Interact effectively and professionally with clients, lawyers, investors, and administrators to build strong relationships and deliver exceptional service.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head of Tax Operations and Tax Services Deputy Lead, to identify and support the training and productivity needs of colleagues and clients, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Tax Compliance: Oversee all FATCA-CRS and Withholding Tax activities for the Head of Tax Operations, ensuring they are carried out within systemised and defined processes.
- Efficiency Improvements: Support improvement to the efficiency, control, and timeliness of tax service delivery. Propose and implement technology-driven improvements.
- Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the central point of contact for all procedural and subject matter questions related to Tax services, providing guidance and support.
- Deputise for Director: In relation to Tax Compliance responsibilities, act as a deputy for the Global Head of Tax Operations in their absence, ensuring escalations of Tax Compliance matters are managed effectively.
- Project Management: Support the Tax Services Delivery team in relation to escalations arising as part of the annual delivery of Tax Services.
- Change Management: Project Manage changes to Tax Services policies, procedures and technology, and escalate issues to the Head of Tax Operations as needed. Maintain detailed project records in the shared environment.
- Leadership Development: Continually develop leadership skills and foster a culture of leadership within Tax Services.
- Technology Integration: Maximise the use of technology in operational processes to control risk and enhance efficiency. Understand, suggest and lead delivery of improvements to the Tax Services system design.

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, etc.)
