Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Talent & Workforce Transformation Manager to design and enable a high-performance, future-ready workforce aligned to our digital expansion, network growth, and innovation agenda.

The main purpose is to build the organisation's long-term capability architecture by accelerating leadership pipelines, embedding modern performance frameworks, advancing workforce equity, and positioning the organisation as an employer of choice within the ICT and network sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a future-focused workforce capability strategy aligned to digital and network growth.
  • Lead enterprise-wide skills mapping and implement skills-based workforce frameworks.
  • Design build / buy / borrow strategies for scarce ICT and technical talent.
  • Establish robust succession pipelines and accelerate high-potential leadership development.
  • Embed agile performance frameworks (OKRs or equivalent) to drive accountability and productivity.
  • Design a digital-first learning ecosystem aligned to future capability needs.
  • Drive Employment Equity, B-BBEE Skills Development, and inclusive workforce transformation.
  • Develop predictive talent dashboards and provide workforce insights to EXCO.
  • Strengthen employer brand, EVP, and technical talent retention strategies.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or related field.
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Postgraduate qualification in OD, Strategy, or Business (preferred).
Work Experience:
  • 10+ years progressive HR experience.
  • Experience within ICT, telecoms, digital, or technology-driven environments.
  • Performance system design (OKR exposure advantageous)
Skills Required:
  • Demonstrated success in succession planning, capability build, and transformation.
  • Experience presenting to EXCO and Board-level forums.
