Talent Acquisition Specialist
Job Description
An established organisation is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, based in Waterfront Cape Town, who can build strong talent pipelines and nurture meaningful candidate relationships. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands on execution in a structured, performance driven recruitment environment.
Responsibilities- Sourcing & Attraction
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high quality talent
- Identify and engage potential candidates through multiple recruitment channels
- Research, introduce, and onboard new sourcing platforms where applicable
- Act as a brand ambassador at career fairs, recruitment events, and networking initiatives
- Drive ad hoc sourcing initiatives to increase candidate volumes and brand visibility
- Recruitment Operations
- Manage the full end to end recruitment lifecycle for allocated roles
- Conduct initial screenings and structured interviews
- Manage and maintain positive candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs and priorities
- Ensure recruitment targets and delivery timelines are met
- Support transformation and diversity objectives within recruitment initiatives
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve candidate experience and recruitment processes
- Administration & Reporting
- Handle full recruitment administration, including:
- Candidate sourcing and screening
- Interview and assessment coordination
- Candidate communication and feedback
- Contract generation and onboarding support
- Relocation administration where applicable
- Handle full recruitment administration, including:
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reporting
- Support requisition creation and recruitment process alignment
- Own recruitment workflows and contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives
- Relevant degree or currently studying toward one
- Recruitment experience within a structured or high volume environment
- Exposure to recruitment within financial services or regulated industries
- Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Office - essential)
- Experience with psychometric tools and recruitment systems
- Excellent time management with the ability to manage multiple roles and priorities
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Confident, influential, and results driven approach
- Strong organisational, problem solving, and decision making abilities
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to facilitate interviews, group discussions, and presentations professionally
- Analytical mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt recruitment strategies
