Role overview

The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for identifying, attracting and securing exceptional talent that will elevate the business to perform at its optimum. The role ensures an effective, efficient, and engaging recruitment process while building strong talent pipelines and enhancing the Weylandts employer brand.

This position will be based in Durbanville.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and placement of successful candidates
  • Identify and attract qualified candidates through various souring methods including networking, social media (Linked in/ Facebook etc), recruiting firms, internet/websites, employee referrals, head hunting.
  • Proactively research and identify potential candidates for current and future opportunities.
  • Build and maintain talent pools and pipelines to support business growth.
  • Ensuring the recruitment process is followed and that all relevant required documentation /information is completed and signed off (references etc), in alignment with company policy and procedure.
  • Utilise technology to streamline & enhance the recruitment process
  • Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Involvement in defining and shaping the recruitment strategy
  • Provide professional recruitment support and advice to line managers on recruitment and selection best practice
  • Ensuring the delivery of a superior, consistent candidate experience
  • Continuously analyse trends related to sourcing, recruitment methods and industry practice
  • Establishing relationships both internally and externally (E.g. Interior Design Colleges, Employment Agencies) to ensure effective communication, networking and benchmarking opportunities,
  • Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers and HR to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs. Keeping them updated regularly on the status of their current vacancy.
  • Participate in HR projects when required.
  • Provide support to the HR team during peak workload periods.
What you bring
  • A relevant degree/diploma
  • Good understanding of legal and compliance requirements within recruitment
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in recruitment, ideally within a corporate or headhunting environment
  • Experience of recruiting for a luxury brand or retail environment is advantageous
  • Excellent communication, relationship building & networking skills
  • Good understanding of and alignment to Weylandts brand
  • Proficiency in MS office/ HR systems
